Emily & Brian

Emily and Brian were married this past Saturday at The Homestead. I met them earlier this year in Crozet for their engagement session (which you can see here) and knew that spending their wedding day with them was going to be fun because of how relaxed they were. I was right! Jane and I really enjoyed them and their families. Actually, everyone was fantastic, including the guests. It was a beautiful day with a couple full of joy! That’s why I love what I do. Here are a few images from the event. More to come in the next couple weeks.

Elizabeth & Aaron – sneak peak

Elizabeth and Aaron were married this past Monday, Memorial Day at King Family Vineyards. It was a gorgeous day and everything came together so beautifully. They had a lovely Jewish / Christian ceremony, which was incredibly meaningful to them and had only one attendant on each side (Elizabeth had her brother stand with her and Aaron had his sister stand with him). I loved how these two really took to heart the intermingling of their families and know that they will be blessed for years to come.

Megan & Andrew – sneak peak

Megan and Andrew were married on Sunday in Poquoson, VA. It was a lovely day and these two were beautiful! You can see some of their engagement images from last October here and I can only say that this couple REALLY loves each other. It was fun to see their anticipation and excitement, and to catch up with each other again. More photos to come, but I just had to post a couple here today. Enjoy the honeymoon!

Last weekend turned out to be the most amazingly beautiful Saturday so far in May. Actually, it couldn’t have been more beautiful. The weather matched this lovely couple and their love and excitement was contagious. It was so much fun to see them again after photographing them earlier this year with their engagement session. I enjoyed meeting their families, who were just as wonderful. I love my job! It is fantastic being able to be a part of each couple’s intimate circle and experience the emotion of parents giving away their child. I especially understand this now that I have four of my own! After being married for almost 16 years to Jane, I understand and remember the joy of being a groom who is getting ready to officially embark on this adventure called life with the person that means the most. This sweet couple was confident and relaxed, ready to begin this new step in their lives! Jac and Parke, it was so much fun hanging out with you and I know your life together will be blessed!!
