This year is the 75th anniversary of the Galax Fiddler’s Convention. If you are a bluegrass fan or performer, then this is a must see for you! You will see and hear more talent in one location than any other time in your life. The event is always the first week of August with the band competitions being on Saturday night.

Featured Spread in Virginia Living

I know I say this every time, and it’s because I believe it every time. Jane and I get the chance to work with really wonderful couples and we always love getting to know their families. Jen and Steve were amazing and so were their parents. It is so exciting to see two families come together and I really appreciate how much they clearly love and cherish their children (and siblings, for the case of this couple). Jen and Steve’s wedding turned out beautifully. The weather threatened rain showers all day and ended up pouring during the indoor ceremony (great timing, huh?!). Their dogs showed up for a photo with them after the ceremony and then it was off to a true celebration reception. This is just the beginning too for this great couple! We wish you both the very best!

I first had the chance to meet Sarah and Matt earlier this year and take some fun engagement photos of the two of them. In talking with them then, I could see that they were so excited about their wedding. They had been planning their wedding for quite some time and I knew that every detail would be well thought out. They both work in the design industry and their creativity was shown in their details. I loved the invitations and cake topper! So cute! Sarah and Matt were surrounded by their family in an intimate event with the beautiful mountains of Virginia as the backdrop. Jane and I wish you both the very best!

What fun it was to be a part of Ashley and Harper’s wedding May 15! I remember Ashley’s tag line in her emails before the wedding saying “The event of the east coast on May 15th and you’re a part of it!”. I knew it was going to be lots of fun, and knowing Ashley and Harper, I knew they were going to have lots of fun! I was right. Thanks for letting me be part of this great new beginning in your lives! I can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things in store for you both!
