I love the winter and the snow. We have been getting lots of this here in Crozet this year, and while some people are ready for spring to arrive, I have to say that I am enjoying all that winter entails. I am a huge fan of skiing. As a matter of fact, I think I would rather be skiing than doing any other activity. At times I get the chance to ski in the the non-lift-served areas of the mountains of West Virginia. On some occasions we have to earn our turns by hiking up the mountain and then skiing down, and in other cases we just ride the snowcat back to the top of the mountain.
