You will be missed, Senator Ted Stevens

When we photograph a wedding, we are doing more than just taking photographs. We are stepping into the lives of two families. For that day, we are a part of their inner circle, watching the bride and groom as they interact with the people they love the most. It is an emotional experience for us. We become connected in our own way to these individuals, and when we hear from them in years to come it is such a blessing. We rejoice when babies are born and we grieve when a loved one is lost. Lily unexpectedly lost her father this week, and she, her siblings and mother grieve. Alaska grieves. In fact, an entire nation grieves. We are so sad for this lovely family and know that Senator Stevens was truly LOVED by so many. We pray for peace and comfort during this time of loss, and can only be thankful that we were able to catch a glimpse of the man Ted Stevens was to so many!

Keswick Vineyards is proud to announce that they are now hosting weddings. It is a spectacular location, with wonderful owners, and is sure to be a great success. Flowers, linens, and furnishings are designed by Beehive Events, who always do such a fantastic job. I’m looking forward to more beautiful events here in the years to come!

I never get tired of looking at this place.

Tina & Andrew

July 23rd was a HOT 103 degree day with a very cool couple. Tina & Andrew were so relaxed and wonderful to work with. You couldn’t tell by the photos that everyone was fighting the heat that day, and that’s probably because no one really noticed. Tina and Andrew were definitely the main attraction at this beautiful event, thanks to event planner Shawn Cossette at Beehive Events. Her floral design really complimented the beauty of King Family Vineyard! Thanks also to Anita Gupta of Maliha Creations for the delectable cake! And thanks to Tina and Andrew for being such a gracious couple. I know good things are in store for you both!!

Whitney & Jaschar

Wow! Where do we even begin with describing how amazing this couple is? Seriously, Jane and I had such a great time working with Whitney and Jaschar, and getting to know their families was so much fun! We just love working with happy couples who are all about enjoying their wedding day, and you will be able to see that Whitney and Jaschar were just that! They had beautiful Christian and Persian ceremonies, and lots of fun dancing- full of joy. We can’t wait to hear what is happening in their lives in the years to come!
